I’ve drawn things recently that you’ll be seeing over the next few weeks, but before all of that I wanted to get back into the practice of drawing pin-ups, which is one of my great loves. You should see
pervert’s corner - the substantial section of my bookcase dedicated to pin-ups, burlesque stars and vintage nudes.
That’s totally normal, right?

This one is kind of aggressive-looking though. That’s a first for my pin-up ladies xx x

Yesterday I went to Wonderland! (which features your friendly neighbourhood illustrator i heart joan at The Custard Factory, opening night was right proper brill. You can go to see it until the 27th of September, definitely get down there and take a look-see.
Here are some pictures, they are a wee bit blurry. I like them.

^ this is me, and my amazingly bright new red hair, which has not turned up on the photo properly… oh the anger xx xxxx x x x

I almost put this in for a “things i like” post, because I do like it, hot damn! But then I decided that it was Friday after all, and it was something that I’d done…
Pop along to The Custard Factory tonight! Maybe you could stop in before you go to Brum Twestival (which I am sadly missing this time around - boo!).
That’s all, folks!

Normally on such an occasion as me being late for a blog post… I’d just skip it and go onto the next one on the appropriate day… but I haven’t blogged in such a long time that I thought it was a shame to be honest… so let’s just imagine that it’s Wednesday and you’re enjoying the world renowned* “Things I Like” which is here… now.
This week things I like are once again… housey things! I’m thinking of moving out at some point soon-ish into my own flat and I keep seeing things that catch my eye… mostly they’re hideously patterned and garish, very very twee… which are things that I plan on offsetting with something that’s actually nice.
I am completely in love with this tray and these tea towels which are courtesy of Homebase, and the milk jug was a present from my mom - I really wanted one, I just feel that every house should have one, mainly based on Andy Pandy’s kitchen… from an episode I watched as a wee one. The orignal, none of this new crap where their houses look like their heads.
